The cement industry uses technologically advanced crushing equipment to achieve energy-efficient development.

Recently, at the National Energy Work Conference, various ministries and commissions explicitly stated that in 2012, China would make tangible progress in reasonably controlling total energy consumption and improving energy efficiency. In response to this macro-level initiative, news from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on January 30 announced that by the end of 2015, China will achieve an energy-saving capacity of 116 million tons of standard coal in buildings through various means, including the development of green buildings, marking the first shot in the country's energy-saving campaign for the coming years. Energy saving and green development are no longer new topics. However, due to the lack of mandatory national regulations, some enterprises still engage in extensive waste and severe pollution. For example, the widely discussed cement enterprises are known for high energy consumption, high pollution, and high waste. Since 2009, the cement industry has been listed as an overcapacity sector and has repeatedly been criticized by national regulatory authorities. Therefore, it is imperative for the cement industry to pursue energy-saving measures.Developing green buildings necessitates achieving energy efficiency from raw materials to finished products. As a fundamental building material, cement production has also been brought onto a track of efficient and green production. At the beginning of last year, the cement industry was included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's plan for phasing out due to severe overcapacity, pollution, and waste issues. Consequently, in order to achieve transformation, cement enterprises nationwide began to retire outdated equipment and adopt high-tech, new-type equipment to embark on a path of green production.So far, China's cement industry has basically completed integration. Some small and medium-sized enterprises with weak foundations, unable to carry out green renovations, have subsequently been eliminated or acquired.
