During the production process of calcining quicklime in stack kilns, the fuel used initially was wood, and over time it has developed to coal and gas, with fully mechanized control for calcination. This has a long history in China. Lime is mainly used in metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials, disinfection, power plant desulfurization, and neutralizing CO2 emissions to meet standards. In recent years, the industry has increasingly demanded higher quality lime, and the market demand for lime has gradually increased, with wider applications. However, many regions in China still produce lime using relatively outdated conventional kilns. Due to backward technology, the product quality is poor and costs are high. Conventional kilns have many disadvantages in production, such as low thermal efficiency, only achieving below 50%; high energy consumption, using more than 160kg of coal per ton of lime; most conventional kilns have a short kiln body with open or semi-open upper openings, resulting in low heat recovery and making dust removal difficult, causing serious environmental pollution; loading and unloading of lime are almost entirely manual, leading to high labor intensity and severely harming the health of workers; unstable quality, with over-burned, under-burned, or clinker formation generally exceeding 30%, and it is difficult to control in time. In recent years, with the rapid development of China's industry, downstream manufacturers demand higher product quality. According to market demand, we have introduced advanced lime kiln technology from abroad. Following the concept of "introduce, absorb, and develop simultaneously," our engineer Chen has developed the "energy-saving automated steel lime kiln," which has been widely promoted and used both domestically and internationally. It is highly favored by large and medium-sized enterprises, private enterprises, and many Southeast Asian countries due to its advantages of significant energy saving, environmental compliance, high degree of automation, high product quality, low construction cost, and short construction cycle.
